Lovely prestigious Hotel in a great location of NYC. We have stayed four times here in the last few years. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and tidy. The only fault i would have is they do-not have tea/coffee facilities in the rooms which would be much better than having to ring down for room service! Restaurants are lovely. Worth trying the Afternoon Tea in the Palm Court.

Had the afternoon tea here. My goodness, what a joke. Nothing was delicious. Everything was barely average in Taste. Would expect the plaza to at least have decent quality. The waiter's service was decent, up until I tipped on card instead of cash, and from then on it was ignore the customer til the end. Way better high teas just about everywhere else. Don't go just because it's the plaza. Its a pretty disappointing afternoon tea.

Fantastic! We unexpectedly went to the champagne bar and had a fun experience!. Although the drinks are expensive they are also very generously sized. You're really getting 2 cocktails in 1 glass! Lovely atmosphere!

If you are hard to find toilet in Manhattan, I recommend you to remember this place. On the ground level, you may find all kind of cake, crepe and fresh coffee with reasonable price. Also you may use clean toilet free here.

After all, it is the plaza.Staff was helpful and attentive. Had a fish dish and pasta. They were delicious.Dessert was a fail. While it was pretty to look at, it was somewhat tasteless. Ultimately had fresh fruit!

A beautiful and iconic hotel located on Fifth Avenue next to Central Park. One big attraction for visitors is Afternoon Tea at The Palm Court within the Plaza Hotel. The service is truly top notch, and the selection of small bites is to die for. You also have various champagne options and a full bar as well. Highly recommend treating yourself at The Palm Court.

Saw Andrew Smith & band here for live jazz. Absolutely stunning. Please bring him back more often! Samantha was also an incredible waitress tonight. Such a magical night at The Plaza!

Stopped in for a drink and sat in the Champagne Room. Beautiful atmosphere and great people watching. The cocktails aren't cheap, but they bring you a lovely trio of nuts and chocolates. Don't miss the Food Court downstairs! Unbelievable options to dine, snack or shop for gifts. The crepe cake from Madame M ... to die for.

Old school class, it's beautiful and opulent, but also expensive. However, the cost is reflected in the service and presentation... grab a drink and a bite, and make sure to look up and admire the stained glass ceiling. It's exquisite...

We stay at the Plaza once a year. Its what you would expect from a 5 star hotel and more... It has an atmosphere that newer hotels simply cannot duplicate. We love it!May 2019 Update: Another perfect stay. The entire staff strives to deliver 5-star service. However, Buddy and Alexandra shined through as going above and beyond!

Wow the Plaza did not disappoint. This is the most luxurious hotel that I have ever stayed at and the service is outstanding. They really do go above and beyond. Expensive for sure but well worth it if you’re looking to indulge and really enjoy your stay in NYC!

Had an amazing experience here. ALL staff I encountered are incredibly friendly and helpful. This place is warm and welcoming and the history here is immaculately maintained; I really was shocked, they clearly go to an extremely high level of detail to maintain the entire premises.Immediate access to Central park, walked then rented a bike and cruised for half of the day, you can cover a lot of ground if you are brave!Bonus, the shower pressure is something I've never mentioned in a review but it was amazing...like standing under a waterfall!

This is perhaps the most iconic hotel in all of New York City. It has been rendered all the more well known by the famous Hollywood movie - Home Alone. If you want to relive that Hollywood fantasy and stay in a top hotel that featured in your favorite childhood movie - Then by all means. If not, you will still find value in the excellence of their accommodation, service and, of course, location. Right at the heart of New York, and right next to Central Park, you will find many things of interest around this place. Monuments, fun activities, any brand outlet or eatery that matters. Who knows you might even manage to run into a celebrity while here. Kaching!

We had a lovely afternoon enjoying tea at The Palm Court located in The Plaza Hotel. The service was impeccable. One person in our party had some food allergies and the chef came out to talk with her. He made delicious alternative for her. The finger sandwiches, pastries and teas were delicious. It was an exceptionally experience. You must go at least one. Enjoy your visit.

Rooms are nice but missing some amenities you would expect such as no coffee maker in the room. Phones not easy to use. No turn down service...Service was very attentive but slow to respond.Location is very convenient for shopping...8Place is the place to be seen but not truly elegant but is opulent

We had the most awful experience here. When you go somewhere like this, paying prices like $36 - $38 for a turkey club, you expect good service and the fries that are served hot. The hotel included a service charge of 18% - we would have left nothing the service was so bad.Absolutely abysmal service. Firstly we asked the server if we could put our coats somewhere. He looked at us and said - "you can put it on the chair next to you", w. We had wine and water, when the water arrived there was only one glass which was slammed down on the table, water splashing everywhere. We had dietary concerns and when asked what could be altered to be gluten free the server looked at us and said "whatever" and was very dismissive. When the food arrived it was cold and the wine wasn't fresh. The only saving grace was because we had our jackets we were able to make a quick exit.AVOID THIS PLACE.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying coffee here with my family, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The service was exceptional—every staff member we encountered was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The ambiance of the place is stunning, filled with aesthetic details that create the perfect backdrop for photos. Each corner is more picturesque than the last! I left feeling inspired and eager to return. I can’t wait to come back and explore the rooms as well. This spot has definitely secured a place in my heart, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming coffee experience!✨✨✨✨

Fantastic five-star historic hotel at Grand Army Plaza NYC. Incredible atmosphere, impeccable service and accomodations. Celebrating my wife's birthday, they took care of us and treated us like true royalty.
